Treatment Services

Prostate Cancer is the most common type of cancer in men. An estimated 15,190 California men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018—a higher estimate than last year. Early detection and treatment greatly increase your chance of long-term survival, especially when treatment begins at an early state of your diagnosis.

IMPACT is designed to evaluate and treat patients in their local communities across California. If you qualify, you will be referred to participating doctors in your area to receive up to 12 months of prostate cancer treatment services.

Do You Qualify for Treatment Services?

• Are 18 years old or older
• Have a diagnosis of prostate cancer
• Have low income
• Have no medical insurance, and do not qualify for Medicare or Medi-Cal
• Live in California

If you qualify for IMPACT, you can receive high quality treatment at many hospitals and doctor offices throughout California for FREE.

IMPACT operates under contract by the University of California, Los Angeles. To schedule your appointment, call IMPACT at 1-800-409-8252 Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PST) or send an email.
